How it works
Only while on shift
Chat opens only for a guard who is clocked in at the site. Messages belong to the shift they were sent in, so every conversation is with someone on duty.
Recorded against a name
The guard proves who they are before chatting, so each message is recorded against the person who sent it and not just the handset.
Straight to the control room
The control room sees the message on its dashboard as soon as it arrives, and replies come back into the same conversation.
Notifications in the background
While the guard is clocked in, the app checks for new messages and raises a notification when one arrives. The guard does not have to keep the chat open.
For what needs writing down
Instructions from the control room, a guard confirming they understood them, handover detail, and anything worth reporting that is not yet an incident.
