Guard Self-Service Portal
Guards look up their own shifts, hours and leave on the handset at the post, without phoning the office.
Book a DemoTL;DR — Quick Summary
The Employee Portal is where a guard sees their upcoming shifts, recorded hours and leave balance, and requests leave, on the shared site handset. It locks itself, so the next person to pick up the device sees none of it.
- Upcoming shifts and hours worked
- Leave balance: entitled, taken and remaining
- Leave requests followed to a decision
- Locks itself on a shared handset
How it works
The guard proves who they are first
The portal shows personal information, so it asks for the same identity check as clocking in. The guard does not have to be on shift, so they can check their leave balance on a day off.
Shifts and leave balance
Upcoming shifts, and each type of leave with the days entitled, taken and remaining, so a guard knows what is available before asking for it.
Hours already worked
The hours recorded against the guard, taken from their own clock-ins and clock-outs.
Request leave and follow the answer
The guard picks a leave type and dates and sends the request to their supervisor. Every request is listed with where it stands: waiting, approved or declined.
Locks itself
Site handsets are shared and get put down. The portal shows a countdown and closes when it reaches zero, and Logout closes it straight away, so whoever picks up the device next sees none of the previous guard’s details.
